SALVE A TUTTI!!!!!
vediamo chi ci AZZECCARA'.
IN VI RINGRAZIO ANTICIPATAMENTE E RIMANGO IN ATTESA DELLE VOSTRE OPINIONI SU QUESTA, TEMPORENEA
MIA CONFIGURAZIONE HARDWARE
Questo è quello che afferma Carmack :
So, Carmack says that GeForce4-MX is not a good buy for Doom3: "Nvidia has really made a mess of the naming conventions here. I always thought it was bad enough that GF2 was just a speed bumped GF1, while GF3 had significant architectural improvements over GF2. I expected GF4 to be the speed bumped GF3, but calling the NV17 GF4-MX really sucks. GF4-MX will still run Doom properly, but it will be using the NV10 codepath with only two texture units and no vertex shaders. A GF3 or 8500 will be much better performers. The GF4-MX may still be the card of choice for many people depending on pricing, especially considering that many games won't use four textures and vertex programs, but damn, I wish they had named it something else."
SIA LA GF2 MX CHE LA GF4 GESTISCONE (Credo qualcuno me lo conferma per la GF2 MX):
but it will be using the NV10 codepath with only two texture units and no vertex shaders
Specifiche Tecniche GeForce 4 MX - GeForce2 MX
GeForce4 Ti 4800 Vertices per Second: 136 Million
Fill Rate: 4.8 Billion AA Samples/Sec.
Operations per Second:1.23 Trillion

Maximum Memory:128MB
nfiniteFX II Engine
The NVIDIA nfiniteFX II Engine incorporates dual programmable Vertex Shaders, faster Pixel Shaders and 3D textures. The nfiniteFX II Engine gives developers the freedom to program a virtually infinite number of custom special effects to create true-to-life characters and environments.
AGP 8X
Provides double the bandwidth of AGP 4X—2.1GB/sec. vs. 1.1GB/sec. AGP 8X enables more complex models and detailed textures, creating richer and more lifelike environments. Uninterrupted data flow allows for smoother video streaming and faster, more seamless gameplay.
Accuview Antialiasing (AA)
The Accuview Antialiasing subsystem with advanced multisampling hardware delivers full-scene antialiased quality at performance levels never before seen.
nView Display Technology
The nView hardware and software technology combination delivers maximum flexibility for multi-display options, and provides unprecedented end-user control of the desktop experience. nView allows end-users to select any combination of multiple displays, including digital flat panels, analog CRTs, and TVs, and to modify the display properties using an intuitive software interface.

GeForce2 MX Memory Interface:6 4/128-bit SDR, 64-bit DDR
Texels per Second: 700 Million
Memory Bandwidth: 2.7GB/s
TwinView
Finally, with NVIDIA's TwinView™ dual-display architecture, multiple displays can be supported on a single GPU. Financial analysts can have a second monitor specifically for tracking each data stream, while graphic artists can use an entire screen for palettes and another for editing.
Digital Vibrance Control (DVC)
Digital Vibrance Control™ is a patent-pending innovation for controlling color separation and intensity. With a simple control panel, you select and control the color settings of your display's entire visual output.
NVIDIA Shading Rasterizer (NSR)
The NVIDIA Shading Rasterizer™ (NSR) combined with the blazing fill rate of an NVIDIA GPU, delivers incomparable resolution and accuracy. Complex scenes are now rich with detail. Features such as per-pixel bump mapping can be utilized to a more dramatic visual effect.
